2. Who These Terms Apply To
These Terms and Conditions apply to all clients and customers of Referral Network Limited, including:
- Individuals and consumers purchasing services for personal professional use (e.g. personal branding)
- Freelancers, sole traders, and self-employed professionals
- Business clients — including startups, SMEs, and established companies
- International clients — including those based in the US, Canada, and other countries
Where these terms apply to individual consumers (as defined by the Consumer Rights Act 2015), your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected. References to "you" or "client" apply to all of the above.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, making an enquiry, or purchasing any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
4. Our Services
Referral Network Limited provides marketing and growth services, including:
- Personal brand management (Instagram and LinkedIn)
- Content creation, posting, and profile optimisation
- Digital media campaign management (Meta Ads, Google Ads)
- Sales marketing systems and CRM setup
- Landing page and website development (WordPress)
- Growth consultancy and strategy
Services are available to individuals, professionals, freelancers, and businesses based in the UK and internationally, including the US and Canada. All services are subject to Referral Network Limited's acceptance of your enquiry and the availability of our team.
5. Service Agreements & Orders
A binding agreement is formed when you accept a written proposal or purchase a plan, and the required payment is received. We reserve the right to decline any enquiry. For recurring monthly plans, the agreement continues on a rolling monthly basis until cancelled.
6. Prices & Payment
All prices are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP, £). For international clients, payments are accepted in GBP and your bank or card provider may apply a currency conversion fee — this is outside our control.
- One-time fees are due in full before work commences
- Monthly retainer fees are billed in advance at the start of each billing period
- Consultancy sessions are invoiced upon booking confirmation
Payments are processed securely via Shopify Payments and Mollie. VAT will be applied where applicable under UK tax law. Late payment may result in suspension of services.
7. Consumer Rights (Individual Clients)
If you are an individual consumer (not purchasing as a business), you may have additional rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, including:
- A 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase for digital services not yet commenced. By requesting that we begin work within this period, you acknowledge that your right to cancel may be reduced proportionally to the work completed
- The right to services performed with reasonable care and skill
- The right to a price reduction or re-performance if services are not delivered as agreed
These consumer rights are in addition to our standard Refund Policy.
8. Delivery of Services
Delivery timelines are outlined in individual proposals or plan descriptions. We will endeavour to meet all agreed deadlines. Delays caused by the client (e.g. failure to provide access, content, or information) may extend delivery timelines without liability on our part.
9. Client Obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information required for service delivery, including social media access where applicable
- Respond to communications within a reasonable timeframe
- Ensure all materials you provide do not infringe third-party rights
- Use our services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable platform terms (e.g. Meta, Google)
- Not misuse or attempt to reverse-engineer any deliverables, strategies, or systems we create
10. Intellectual Property
All strategies, content, ad creatives, website files, and reports created by us remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon final payment, usage rights for agreed deliverables transfer to you. You may not resell or sublicense our work without written consent.
11. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during the relationship. This obligation continues for 2 years after the end of the relationship. We will never share your business data, campaign information, or personal details with competitors or third parties outside those described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Results Disclaimer
Marketing results (such as follower growth, lead volume, or ad performance) depend on factors outside our control including platform algorithms, market conditions, budget levels, and audience behaviour. We do not guarantee specific outcomes and are not liable for results falling below expected targets where our services have been delivered as agreed.
13. Cancellation
Either party may cancel a monthly plan with 30 days' written notice. Notice must be sent to info@referralnetwork.agency. The current billing period is non-refundable upon cancellation. We may terminate immediately if you breach these terms, fail to make payment, or engage in behaviour that violates platform policies or applicable law.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, our total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that service in the preceding 3 months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses including loss of profit, revenue, reputation, or business opportunity.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot be excluded by law.
15. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. For clients based outside the UK, these terms still apply, but you may also have rights under the laws of your own jurisdiction that cannot be excluded.
We encourage resolution of any dispute through direct communication first. Unresolved disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
16. Complaints
Please contact us at info@referralnetwork.agency with any complaint. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and resolve within 10 business days.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Active clients will be notified of material changes by email. The current version is always available at referralnetwork.agency/pages/terms-and-conditions.
